Update: My baby is dying. I feel such loss whenever I pass by and more leaves have fallen. I love the fall. And I have been following one tree's progress each day as I walk home from the train station. I have become very motherly about it (don't blog about any children because I don't have any...just trees.) In the past week:
I love these photos, they remind me of one from my Etsy shop. (it also has some fall foliage in the background) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=16052066
You have a really unique style of writing. I really enjoyed randomly checking out your blog!
Those leaves are gorgeous! I am SO sad I missed your phone call today. I was at work and didn't hear my phone go off. It sounds and looks like you are having a wonderful time in Paris. I can't wait to see you on the webcam...hopefully soon! Love you!
ON ART- "The artist's language is the memory from sight. Art is made from dreams, and visions and things not known and least of allfrom things that can be said.It comes from the inside ofwho you are when you face yourself. It is the inner declaration of purpose..." David Smith, American sculptor
"We write to taste life twice, once in the momentand once in retrospection." AnaisNin "The test of literature is, I suppose, whetherwe ourselves live more intensely for the reading of it." ElizabethDrew
ONLIFE- "No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of suchqualities as patience, faith, fortitude, and humility. All that wesuffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tenderand charitable, more worthy to be called children of God." Orson F. Whitney "thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and forthe blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes." e. e. cummings
